Ask My AI is a SuiteApp from Head in the Cloud Development that adds an "Ask Claude" button to the NetSuite record types you choose. Type your question and your AI service opens in a new tab with the question, the record type and internal ID, and a link back to the record already filled in. No copying numbers, no re-typing context.

The key design decision: we don't provide the AI. You already have it. Ask My AI hands your question to the service you're already signed into, in your own browser. That means nothing to provision — no API keys to store, no token costs, and a much smaller data footprint than an integration that calls a vendor API on your behalf. A service is just a name and a URL template stored in a custom record, so you can point it at a self-hosted assistant just as easily.

Connect your AI service to NetSuite's MCP tools and it gets better again: instead of receiving a link it may not be able to open, the assistant queries your account directly and answers with real numbers from your records.
