ChatGPT Ads are surprisingly easy to launch. Structuring them properly for eCommerce, tracking the results and optimising with limited reporting is the harder part.

In this video, I walk through OpenAI Ads Manager Beta and show how I’m approaching ChatGPT Ads as an eCommerce Google Ads marketer.

My view at this stage is that ChatGPT Ads are another product-discovery and research touchpoint. They are not replacing Google Ads, and I would not expect the same return immediately.

The setup is simple. The platform is still early. Product feeds, accurate conversion tracking, clean account structure and external reporting through GA4 and Shopify will be important.

This video reflects the platform as it exists in July 2026. ChatGPT Ads Manager is still in beta and features will change.
