Finally — ChatGPT has a desktop app that genuinely competes with Anthropic's Claude Desktop. It's called ChatGPT Work, and in this video I walk through what it does and how it stacks up.

For a while now Claude has been the tool letting ordinary people build agents, control their browser and get real work done on the desktop. ChatGPT has taken its time getting here — but ChatGPT Work finally brings that same agentic experience to the app most people already know.

I open it up side by side with Claude and show you round the whole thing: the new task view, plugins, browser control, scheduled tasks, projects, and skills — including the image-gen skill. I also look at how it plugs into Codex for full coding mode, and go through the new ChatGPT 5.6 models (Sol, Luna and more) — which, on the benchmarks OpenAI is showing, are scoring higher than Claude Opus and Fable while costing a lot less per token.
