We have observed the overwhelming acceptance and use of AI within our own Seventh-day Adventist ranks. We ourselves are not immune to the ease, convenience, and usefulness of this modern tool for evangelism and other ministry purposes. And, to be completely honest, it has concerned us and makes us very uncomfortable. We have experienced how easy it becomes to get pulled into the digital world of AI, so we pacify our reluctance and misgivings by justifying its usefulness in communicating the 3 Angels' Message of Present Truth in a wildly digital, fast-paced, short-focused age of technology. However, our misgivings have not abated and it is something we are actively grappling with as we navigate the nuances of the technology age of "Digital Ministry."

This presentation stopped us in our tracks and seemed to amplify and confirm the REASON behind our concerns about the widespread use of this "machine" in the ranks of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. While this message comes from a secular source, the information revealed should(?!) give pause to every sincere believer who recognizes the extreme danger and risk of aligning with an entity of this kind of influence and power over the human mind.

The use of technology in ministry is absolutely necessary in today's modern age.

The use of AI ... IS NOT ... absolutely necessary to sustain an effective and impactful ministry to those both within and without the circles of our faith.

This is something we are evaluating with prayer and caution, ESPECIALLY in light of this revelation of the power behind the machine.
