Ibrahim (peace be upon him) asked Allah how He gives life to the dead, not out of doubt, but out of a desire for the heart to witness what it already believed.

Allah instructed him to take four birds, train them, then cut them and place parts on different mountains. When he called them back in the name of Allah, they came to him alive again whole, restored, as if nothing had ever been taken from them.

And in that moment, the unseen became almost visible. The heart was taught what words could never fully carry.

There’s something deeply nostalgic about this story… because it mirrors our own inner state. We all go through moments where things feel scattered, lost, broken into pieces across different “mountains” of life.
And yet when called by the One who gives life everything returns.
Whole again. By His command.
