The two leaders agreed to work together to address labour welfare concerns while ensuring that recruitment systems meet the needs of both countries. Discussions also covered cooperation between Petronas and Petrobangla, LNG supplies, the halal industry, education, tourism, and cultural exchanges.

Anwar further highlighted the importance of addressing the Rohingya refugee crisis through ASEAN mechanisms and diplomatic engagement with Myanmar. He also reiterated Malaysia and Bangladesh's shared concerns over the humanitarian situation in Gaza and their support for peace in the Gulf and Iran.
