Tory Deputy Leader Alex Burghart took to the dispatch box in his return to the House of Commons Wednesday to criticise the Treasury.

The Tories stated that the economic responsibilities relating to Number 10 North have been "watered down", and that the "real power" remains with the Chancellor.

Burghart welcomed Louise Haigh to her new role as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, but said that he had wished that Haigh would "destroy this terrible imperial power", regarding the Treasury, as Haigh had described it over the summer.
