TRUMP JUST POSTED $20,000 GOLD 🚨 And The Treasury Sanctioned It The Same Week (BOTH ARE REAL)

Two things happened this week. Both of them are real. The first is the one everybody is talking about. The President of the United States posted a video to his Truth Social account — a video forecasting $10,000 gold by the end of 2026, with $20,000 sitting inside the range of outcomes. 7,500 likes. Over 2,000 reposts.
That is a genuinely extraordinary thing to see on a sitting president's account. The second happened on Monday, got almost no coverage in this space, and I think it is considerably more important. The US Treasury formally classified gold as a sanctionable strategic asset class — in the same breath as crypto and aviation, at a press conference about Iran. 💥
Here's the one sentence that reframes this entire subject: You do not sanction something because it is shiny. You sanction something because it MOVES MONEY. Which means what happened Monday is the US government formally acknowledging, on the record, that gold functions as money. Right now. Today. At scale. I give you both stories properly in this video.
First the Trump post, taken seriously — exactly what's in that video, what Rickards actually says, what he personally discloses about his own holdings, and why the number itself matters far less than something else about it that almost nobody will mention. 📈
Then Monday. I explain what a sanction actually IS, in plain English, and why adding an asset to one is a statement about that asset. Plus the full sequence of five separate government moves over eighteen months that led here — including one detail that I think is the most telling of all, and it's a subtle one.
There's also the Iran data (imports running SIX TIMES higher than last year), and one direct quote about China that draws a line straight through the metal both of America's adversaries rely on. 🔍
⚠️ And then, toward the end, my honest read on the Trump post specifically — because I do not think it means what a lot of channels are about to tell you it means, and I explain exactly why.
But I also explain why the underlying question is still completely legitimate — it just rests on three verifiable things, and that post isn't one of them.
I'll also tell you exactly what a real revaluation would look like, so you can recognise it instead of guessing. It won't look anything like a video with a play button on it.
🔎 Stay to the end for the honest section, including where this argument is weakest, who is selling what, and one thing I'd genuinely encourage you to verify yourself rather than take from me.
💬 COMMENT — do you think a president posting a gold price forecast means anything at all, or is it just noise?
Say SIGNAL or NOISE. I tell you where I land later in the video, and I suspect it won't be where you expect.
And on the record: does a formal revaluation of US gold reserves happen before the end of 2027? Yes or no, and say why.
I read every one and the sharpest get pinned.
