Shared use of tax information to support tax administration and tax policy formulation

In a recent TADAT Coffee Chat session, we explored how data and institutional collaboration are strengthening tax administration and fiscal policy design in Peru.
The session highlighted joint work between the Ministry of Economy and Finance and SUNAT, including a real-time analytical dashboard that brings together key tax and economic indicators to support more timely and informed decision-making.
Originally developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the tool now enables monitoring across sectors, regions, and taxpayer segments, drawing on increasingly digital sources such as electronic invoicing and payments.
