Scott Bessent COLLAPSES After Sen. Gallego EXPOSES Him Paying Trump $10B

Senator Ruben Gallego walked Scott Bessent into one of the most devastating admissions of the entire hearing, getting him to confirm step by step that Trump is suing the IRS for $10 billion of taxpayer money, that Bessent has zero independence to stop the payment, that the DOJ will make the decision entirely without his input, and that he will personally be the one to hit send on the wire transfer even if he believes it is unjust. Gallego then revealed Trump has filed an additional $230 million in claims against the Justice Department for investigations during his previous candidacy, all of which would also come from the Treasury Judgment Fund that Bessent controls as paymaster. When the Treasury Secretary admits he has no say in whether the president gets paid billions from his own agency while the president has full power to fire him, that is not a conflict of interest that is a shakedown.
