The rescheduled event is being held at the Waldorf Astoria near the White House, with a smaller ballroom and fewer people, but will largely retain the original program.

The event will honor the Secret Service officer who was shot in April and the hotel staff who were on duty, and will feature a speech by the president and a performance by mentalist Oz Pearlman.
