Auctioneer and Real Estate Expert Tom Panos says he would be surprised if the Treasury wouldn’t be aware that “it would be good for property prices to be down on the first of July 2027.” It will be the “baseline they’re going to use to work out how much capital gains tax people pay” which could result in more tax being paid.
