A DOGE associate was given access to Treasury's payment systems without completing required security training or signing the IT rules of behavior, was briefly given write access by accident, and was able to send unencrypted foreign aid data outside the agency without being flagged. A career Treasury official who refused to grant the access was pushed out. More GAO audits are coming.
