According to Treasury updates, over 53 million tax filers have claimed at least one of the administration’s signature tax cuts, while a large share of households have seen increased refunds and new deductions under the “Working Families Tax Cuts” program.
Bessent also highlighted the rollout of “Trump Accounts,” a new savings initiative for children that allows families to build long-term investment funds, with millions of accounts already opened nationwide.
The Treasury says the policies aim to boost take-home pay, simplify tax filing, and expand financial participation for working families and small businesses.
