Sometimes, a new Siemens PLC, ET 200SP module, I/O module, drive, or other hardware is not available in the TIA Portal Hardware Catalog. In such cases, installing the correct HSP (Hardware Support Package) can add support for the required hardware.

In this practical example, I show how to identify and install the required HSP for an ET 200SP IM 155-6 PN ST interface module that was missing from the TIA Portal V18 Hardware Catalog.
