Grief used to convince me I couldn't handle the pain. I no longer believe that story. I handle whatever life hands me. Always have, always will, and now with more grace and ease every year. As highly sensitive people, when we feel it, we are fully in it. Every cell, every fiber. When the feelings are light and joyful, we float in them. When they are dark and heavy, we feel the five-ton boulder. That depth is our strength. We are built to carry it and still rise.
