Is it possible to run again with Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia? After success in helping client with Multiple Sclerosis regain the ability to run - Ricky became our first HSP client with the same goal.

Ricky and Luke have put in a lot of work to get to this stage - helping Ricky go from walking with an aid, to walking unaided, to RUNNING. They start slow, breaking down each bit of the movement and making adjustments to help with balance and stride. Luke is analysing each practice round and working out how to progress in increments as it’s been a long time since Ricky last ran - his brain and body need time to implement any change before they move on.

But, together, over the space of a few hours they are able to achieve Ricky’s goal - to RUN!
