When stress hits, you don't need an app or an hour of quiet — you need something you can do right where you are. Ayurvedic Health Coach Dimple Jangda shares 3 simple grounding techniques to calm your nervous system anywhere:

🖐️ 5-4-3-2-1 GROUNDING — interrupt a racing mind using your senses: name 5 things you can see, 4 you can touch, 3 you can hear, 2 you can smell, 1 you can taste. It pulls you out of the thought loop and back into the present.
🌬️ FOOT & BREATH — before a meeting or presentation: feet firmly on the floor, eyes closed, inhale for 4, exhale for 6, imagining tension leaving through your feet. Repeat 8–10 breaths.
🌱 MINI GROUNDING — when you're overstimulated, step outside and stand barefoot on grass, soil or sand, or near a plant. It's the same idea as the Japanese practice of "forest bathing" (shinrin-yoku) — nature calming the nervous system.

Simple, free, and doable anywhere.
