Stitching The Archive is an interactive, hands-on textile and photography workshop happening this April at The Roger Ballen Centre for Photography. Using your own personal archive as inspiration, we'll walk you through beading and embroidery techniques for creating your own pocket altar, taking cues from various talismans and jewellery from African craft traditions. It's a wearable, portable method to carry your history, memory and heritage AND a great way to unwind, slow down and connect with new people.
