Stockpile Sale Tips and Tricks from an Extreme Couponer
We had our first solid weekend of amazing weather, and that always means a Stockpile sale! I have accumulated a lot of inventory over the Winter so it’s necessary to purge. I don’t wanna hear anybody in the comments telling me what I should be doing with my stockpile; I’m more than generous with donations and giving away to family and friends. Having a Stockpile Sale a couple times a year helps out tremendously. And at these prices, everyone wins!
As much as I love the idea of a flea market, where your location will inherently have lots of foot traffic, the idea of putting everything in totes, lugging it out to the cars (yes multiple), loading the cars, travel, unloading, set up, and then in just a few hours, break it all down and bringing it all back feels more like punishment than anything else. Keep in mind that most of these things are liquid and heavy. Just bringing it out to my front lawn takes multiple hours.
But if you have a garage, you can set this all up as far ahead of time as you want and when you’re ready to sell, just open the garage door.
Pricing and item popularity will vary neighborhood to neighborhood, and sale to sale. So what sells great for me may not sell well for you. It’s a lot of trial and error to get things to move.
If you have any extra tips, drop them in the comments! Or if you wanna show off your Stockpile sale, feel free to do so!
And as always, follow, share, and like to save money with Mike!
